This worked for me coming from either 1809 or 1803 Win 10. I tested it on a few machines before deploying to all. The xcopy job copies the file locally and the next line executes it to run silently. In my 1903 folder, I have a copy of what you get when you create a flash drive using the Microsoft Windows 10 media creating tool. I made a batch file with the following commands: I also read here on Spiceworks that some have been using MDT to push 1709, but isn't that a Machine by Machine type of thing? Or, how is it actually done on MDT? I have looked at their support articles and some are confusing. Anyways, we currently have about 30 machines with Windows 10 1607, and I heard that Microsoft is ending support on the 1607 very soon, so I was wondering if there is a way to upgrade using PDQ Deploy. I did check out some questions already posted about this topic, but could not get a definite answer. I did try a deployment to another VM on the same virtual switch yesterday, but PXE on the blank VM didn't detect DHCP so I have to figure out what's causing that. I created a test domain, set it as a DC, installed AD, DHCP, and DNS (which are requirements for MDT apparently). I currently have MDT set up on a VM with Server 2016 Standard. I'm still in the testing phase and plan to to my first test deployment this afternoon assuming I can figure out the networking part. The best option was to let it do it's thing, then just remove them all for all users right before you initiate the sysprep. I banged my head against the wall for a while trying to block the Appx automatic updates via registry changes and GPO. Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage If you plan to use MDT, I recommend you keep this PS cmd handy: I can tell you right now the hardest hurdle so far has been the Windows 10 apps causing sysprep to fail due to them automatically updating after being connected to the internet. I am currently in the process of using MDT to create reference images for each department with 1709 based on what specific programs they will need installed. Granted, I've never personally used PDQ, but from what I've read and seen in video tutorials it is limited in that sense. but not re-image machines with a different OS build. The way I understand how PDQ Deploy works, you can only push out applications, patches, etc.
